Tonight’s class was designed to make our legs fall off. The warm-ups consisted of doing 10 frog hops, 20 squat kicks, and 25 squats. After that, we warmed up some more doing cat stance routines that involve kicking using both right and left cat stances. Started off first with a front ball, then onto frontball/reverse crescent then onto frontball/side blade/round house/spinning reverse hook kick.

Then we partnered up doing a step to the side in a cat stance, hand check, back fist and palm heel to the face, round house to the gut, kick to the knee and then a spinning reverse hook kick or axe kick – ouch.

Ouch! That really hurts. And my body will really need some rest after that.
